El programa ofrece un recorrido emocionante por siglos y continentes. Del Renacimiento llegan el célebre madrigal de Jacob Arcadelt Il dolce e bianco cigno, con su juego poético entre la muerte del cisne y el éxtasis del amante, y el motete de Thomas Tallis If ye love me, de pureza y claridad extraordinarias. Joaquín Rodrigo aporta el sabor antiguo de la tradición sefardí con El Rey que mucho madruga.
Los spirituals afroamericanos brillan con la potencia de Moses Hogan en The Battle of Jericho y Elijah Rock, junto al clásico Down by the Riverside en el arreglo rítmico de Stacey Gibbs y la conmovedora All My Trials de Norman Luboff.
La belleza contemporánea se hace presente en Contre qui, rose de Morten Lauridsen, en Barter de Joe Paquin y en Schönster Abestärn de Jan Wilke, mientras el folklore internacional aporta color y alegría con la canción filipina Leron, Leron, Sinta (arr. Saunder Choi), la colombiana Juego a que me quemo – Chispa candela (arr. Julián Gómez Giraldo) y Jamais seul de Perry Gordon Fine.
Un programa que une refinamiento, ritmo, emoción y virtuosismo vocal.

Labyrinthe returns to Puerto Vallarta!
The professional international a cappella ensemble Labyrinthe returns to the bay for two exclusive performances. This is a unique opportunity to experience a cappella music at this level in Puerto Vallarta, with the special presence of the conductor of the Vallarta Symphony Orchestra.
The program offers an exciting journey across centuries and continents. From the Renaissance come Jacob Arcadelt’s celebrated madrigal Il dolce e bianco cigno, with its poetic interplay between the swan’s death and the lover’s ecstasy, and Thomas Tallis’s motet If ye love me, of extraordinary purity and clarity. Joaquín Rodrigo contributes the ancient flavor of Sephardic tradition with El Rey que mucho madruga.
African-American spirituals shine with the power of Moses Hogan in The Battle of Jericho and Elijah Rock, alongside the classic Down by the Riverside in Stacey Gibbs’s rhythmic arrangement and Norman Luboff’s moving All My Trials.
Contemporary beauty is present in Morten Lauridsen’s Contre qui, rose, Joe Paquin’s Barter, and Jan Wilke’s Schönster Abestärn, while international folk traditions bring color and joy with the Filipino song Leron, Leron, Sinta (arr.
